A burlesque dancing nude model

I am often asked how I started working as a crocodile model and the follow-up question is usually "I do not understand how you dare? I would never dare". Sometimes the question can be "how does it feel to be a crocodile model?" and "How do you manage to be still for so long?" How detailed I answer varies, but here will hopefully be detailed answers to these questions. The curiosity to try to be a crocodile model came before I actually dared. Why curiosity to even try was there, I can not fully answer, however, have always thought it was beautiful, so assuming that curiosity began to grow then, how would it feel to be part of the creative process? To express artistically with the body and see what the artist captures on paper or canvas? My body becomes art! So I asked my cousin, the artist Michaela Österlindh, how does one go about becoming a crocodile model? But there was no courage to take the first step properly yet ...No, the courage came after I started dancing Burlesque. A person who turned out to be a very nice friend, Pontus Hållberg, talked about a Burlsque course he took, I who so wanted to start dancing Burlesque again overheard this and asked if there was a possibility that I could start and. The burlesque course, led by the strong and fine Jossan Nordén, gave me the courage to finally take the step to contact Elsa Rehnlund (who is the artist behind the picture in the right corner), to start working as a crocodile model. What the Burlesque course gave me was stronger self-esteem and stronger self-confidence, something I have always struggled with before - still to and from certain days - but how much Burlesque has given me. This was in 2018, I'm still dancing Burlesque, now led by the joyous Lee Harrysson, unfortunately I have only been able to be with this semester a few times. I still work as a hook model. My career as a hook model began in Rosa Huset, Skövde. My career has recently gained more momentum, as I now also work at the art schools in Hjo and Mullsjö. My job as a model has also taken me to Spain, came home on Thursday night, but more about that in another post. Sitting still, I usually answer that it is like paid meditation. But yes, depending on how long I have to hold a pose affects and one tries to adjust the pose over time. Of course it has happened and will probably happen from time to time in the future, I end up in a pose that turns out to be erratic in the end anyway. Thank goodness for perseverance, perseverance and perseverance. In Spain, however, I also stood in front of the camera, something I did earlier many years ago for some who were at the beginning of their photography and wanted pictures for their portfolio. At that time I was wearing clothes / underwear. But thanks to my Instagram - liiguustavsson - a photographer of his, Kimmo Lundahl, heard about it and asked for a collaboration. So this summer I was in front of the camera again, but without clothes. Thanks to those photos, another photographer heard from him, Gabriel Riveros, and wanted to collaborate. Two magic photosessions, which I will write about in an upcoming post, as well as with pictures (but for the curious there are some pictures on my Instagram). In December, I will collaborate with another photographer, and look forward to it! Will be in front of a camera earlier than December, already on Sunday. But, for a movie, The Whole Picture, as an extra. Is tagged on being involved in a film production! So, thanks to Burlesque, I dared to try working as a crocodile model, and I continue because it's so liberating, I feel strong and beautiful. Many people get stuck - naked - which is a shame. Because it is so much more than a naked body and there should be no such taboo around nudity. Hope my first post gave answers, otherwise just ask and see you in future posts, which will contain pictures from the photos, a little everyday and thoughts about self-image, Spain, the film and life in general! #bodypositive #burlesquedancer #lifemodel #croquismodel #artistmodel #krokimodell #photomodel #fotomodell #modelabroad #moviestar #selfconfident #lifejourney
